Services

Kitchen Renovation

Kitchens are an important part of our daily lives and is a great place to bond and create memories with family and friends.

When the decision is made to renovate it is important to select the right cabinets, counter top and backsplash.

We recommend MDF cabinets if you want painted cabinets or Maple cabinets if you want stained cabinets.

Our preference for counter tops and backsplash is Quartz, however we work with whatever the customer prefers.

Quartz is easy to maintain (do not have to seal) and is uniform in look and feel.

Bathroom Renovation

Bathrooms are one of the most used rooms in your house and an upgrade could have an amazing impact on the value of your home.

Adding a good waterproofing system for your shower will prevent mold or mildew on your drywall.

There are so many designs to select from, walk in shower, tub shower, free standing tub or both walk in shower and free standing tub.

You should check the photo gallery to get some ideas of how your bathroom could look.

Waterproofing Showers

Waterproofing a shower consists of many layers starting with the Oatey shower pan and then Densshield (Drywall).

We then apply three coats of Hydroban (Flextile) water proofing system. There is another method as well called the Schluter system which costs more, however the above system is just as effective.

Stairs

Custom stairs are essential when you’re looking to maximize the profit on your house or for your total enjoyment as well.

Porcelain Tile

Porcelain tiles are great for showers, shower floors, bathroom floors as well as kitchen floors. I would not recommend marble tiles because of the maintenance (need to seal).

Hardwood Flooring

Hardwood flooring is a great choice for the entire house. You can select engineered hardwood or solid hardwood, however engineered hardwood does not shrink as much as solid hardwood. Solid hardwood has some great patterns and designs as well as various strengths depending on the type of wood that is selected.

Vinyl Flooring

Vinyl flooring is a great option for basement floors because it is resilient, water resistant, low maintenance and durable.

Vinyl stairs are also good for your basement stairs.

I would not recommend Vinyl flooring for your main floor because it does not add as much value as hardwood flooring.

Legal Basement Appartment

If you are considering a basement apartment renovation I would always recommend a legal basement apartment for a number of reasons. The plans are prepared and submitted to the applicable municipality by an architect and the appropriate permits are issued. Once the renovation is completed you will be given a certificate by the local fire department.
